| Sep-16-2009 | Ray Buyher just called and noticed his bird, 5744-AU09-RENO 3rd in the race won no pools. I checked and he is right it should have. He entered it in the 5,10,15,20 ten for 1. I even had made a copy of his pool sheet as one of the 7 winners, but I somehow forgot to put him on my worksheet.
I have adjusted the pool winnings of the birds involved. Race recap should now be correct as published. Sorry for the error, Terry |
| Sep-11-2009 | Well one bird returned on Wednesday, it was Don Chapins that was lost from a training toss a while back. No more race birds returned on Thursday. Looks like we may be coming to the end.
Please call Paul to make arrangements for your bought back birds pickup or shipping. You are responsible for the cost of the box and postal fees if you have it mailed. |

| Sep-08-2009 | What a difference a day makes.
Yesterday was clear with beautiful Central Oregon blue skies. The wind calmed down completely but only 18 more birds returned for a total of 19. All the prizes are filled and 2009 Oregon State Race is in the history books. Congratulations to Augie Frietas and all the rest of the winners. As my old friend Pete Lorenz used to say, "Keep em flying" Terry |
| Sep-07-2009 | Yesterday turned out to be a difficult race day for the birds. The wind blew from sunrise to sundown. The three rented tent awnings finally had to be taken down around noon, because the wind was so relentless.
It was a great chicken barbeque with more than enough food to go around. Congratulations to Augie Freitas for the only bird clocked on the day!. |
| Sep-05-2009 | Well the final Inventory is posted. Paul ran the birds through the clock last night. We will post the shipping list from the clock tonight after shipping at the Motel. You will be able to see what has been scanned and crated.I am shutting down now to head for the Motel Best of Luck to Everyone Terry |
