We have 42 birds for the race this year. They have been out 4 miles in serval different directions. There 9 and 10 flights were pulled then they have been locked up for the past month and were let yesterday. We will fly them in the mornings intill the weather cools down some. We will then start taking them out for short tosses. Due to the small number of birds we are going to have one 300 mile race (Saturday November 20th). Thus there will be no average speed this year. RACE IS STILL ON Talked to different poeple and from what I have been told that they have been having trouble with there breeding this more so than in years past. They are telling me that there birds will be coming in later than is past years. I knoew that I have had bad luck with babies freezing and birds getting of there egss due to the cruddy weather.
