Hi everyone, The birds just finished their canker and respiratory treatment last week. Their 9th flight is all the way in and 10th is 3/4 in. Next week the temps are suppose to drop down to 80's and 90's so I will be working the birds a little harder around the loft. At least 1 hour+ Flying time. Our goal is to start training middle of September, all this will depend on our heat. The last couple of weeks the birds have been in and out of their new crates so they will be used to them when we start training. Looking forward to the cool down.Even if it is for only a week. Our Sin City Race is getting birds sent to us daily, We expect a lot more once weather cools down. We will accept those birds until the end of October. Here is the website for the Sin City Race. www.sincity.toclasvegas.com. If you haven't seen it please take a look and let us know what you think. Again, thank you for your support and we look forward to seeing everyone in November. Hector |

Hello everyone, sorry I haven't updated in a while, our 2 daughters have been keeping us busy with the birth of 2 new grandsons!!! Our eldest, Amanda, gave birth on July 25 to our 2nd grandson, Carter, then today our youngest, Jennifer gave birth to her first, Peyton!! Birds are in their body moult. We are starting to basket train them. They are right where they need to be for the race. Every other day is open loft for right now. Weather is still 100+ so we will not be pushing them. We will start to train when the heat goes down, probably 2nd week of September. We have 239 healthy birds, now I need to keep them that way. Now they are starting to look like racing pigeons! Hope everyone saw our video 4, the truck video, We have received many compliments on the truck. Can't wait for you all to see it! When Brenda gets back from Colorado we will make another video for you. We should have the website for SinCity race up soon. Terry is working on this and as soon as Jennifer recoups from her delivery we will have it up and running. Birds have been coming in steady for this race so don't forget we will take birds for this race until October 31st.www.sincity.toclasvegas.com Thanks again for your support!! See ya, Hector |

Hello Breeders, This weekend we poxed the birds, pulled flights, sprayed for lice and made sure electronic chips are working. They look in great condition. We will be sending you a letter letting you know what birds are still here. We have 237 birds in the loft as of today. They will be in the loft for the next few weeks until their flights are at least 3/4 in. We do have a few hawks in the area and don't want to make it easy for them. We made a video of the birds getting poxed, flights pulled and sprayed. To view the video just go back to home page and click tab on left that says VIDEO. Hope you enjoy it. We only have 11 days left to accept birds for this race so if you know anyone wanting in they need to hurry. Hello Breeders,Weather here is around 105 to 110 and your birds I must say are handling the heat quite well. We are giving them electrolytes and fresh water that is changed at least 4 times a day. They are also having a lot of baths. They are out every morning @ 5:30 and we start getting them back in @ 10:00 because of the heat. We will try and put a new video update for you next week, the weather is suppose to drop (101-104) I know that doesn't sound like alot but you can feel the difference. We are still accepting birds until the end of this month for the TOC RACE. We will only take 50 more birds for this race. Our goal is to take only 300 perches for each race. We feel this is a good number for us to maintain the best possible health and well being of your best birds. The loft holds 850 box perches without crowding. We have already had birds sent to us this week for the April 2011 Race, Sin City, from Hawaii and California. The Response so far has been great!! So if you have any late hatch birds you can send them now for the Sin City Race or the TOC race just let us know which Race. Hope you all have a safe and great 4th of July!! Thanks for your support Hector |

Hello Breeders, We took a hand inventory this weekend and clipped flights and the birds look super!! We had 4 birds that had lost their chips so we put new ones on them. A couple had hit wires and one looked to have been hawked. Breeders have been notified if they need to send replacements. We still have room in the loft and would like to see at least 300 so if you know anyone that wants in they have until the end of July to put in. We would like to take this time to tell you about a NEW RACE we have put together for you. It will be called, Sin City One Loft Race. The race will be in April of 2011 and we will only take the first 300 entries, so keep your special pairs together. For more info on this race just go back to our homepage and on the left click the tab that says Sin City One Loft, all the details are there. If you have any questions on this or our TOC Race please don't hesitate to call me.(702)396-8339. Thanks for your support. Hector |

Hello everyone!! Birds are looking really good. They are out every morning flying. We will do a hand inventory this weekend to make sure all the chips are working. We will let breeders know then if they need to send any replacements. We have 217 as of today. If you or anyone you know still wants to get in the race we have spots available, we take them till the end of July. We put up our 2nd video update today so be sure to check it out. We had originally planned to show the birds flying and trapping but our "producer" informed us that it was too long and too many clips, so our "camerawoman" is working on this. So next week we will show you the birds landing. Hope you enjoy the videos!! Again I would like to thank all of you for your support. We are working hard on making this a great race for you. If you have any questions or comments please do not hesitate to call me.(702)396-8339. I will be going to Oaklahoma in a few weeks to pick up the rest of the crates and then we will video the "Flight Truck" for you. Thanks again, Hector |
