Hello Everybody

         The birds are looking a lot better. We still have 15 birds in another loft that I'm still treating, I think about half will make it. I am know trying to get them up and around the loft, with so much down time its like starting over with the birds. Again thanks for everybodies help. I have to say though I think with the adeno virus the only thing that really works is time. Everything else that I threw at them was in my opinion helped at a very limited capacity. All the birds showed different symtoms, canker, eye colds,going light snizzing . The difference is that these secondary systems are a lot worse when caused by the adenovirus. Canker is easy to cure, but not if its brought on by the virus. Any way Im going to put this behind me and move on we can an will still make this a great race. The only nice think about all of this is the way the OLR was orginized, everybody that lost birds didnt have to pay the 50$ dollars that they would have paid in other OLRs. When looking for the lates training or inventory, go to wincompanion on the menu bar to the left of the page,click on results then training and find the latest training or inventory. For those that are wondering. DL

This will be a very accurate Inventory . I handled every single bird my self checking for condition (health) band # and pulled the tenth flight that was clipped about four weeks ago. The birds that are in the loft look very good. As I have said before this is a sickness that hits the younger birds much harder than the older ones. I thank everybody for there help. I will talk about some of the things that I did and what my thoughts are on the adeno virus in another post, but right now well get this inventory out and I will start getting them out and start getting them in shape. Sorry to those that have called and emailed with no responce on my behalf. I will start do much better in responding to your concerns and questions. Thanks David L

Starting tomorrow I will take the birds off of Virkon S and Get them on probotics. The better part of the birds look good with the exception of a small handful of birds that already have been removed from the loft. This is a decease that magnifies what ever bug may be in the bird at that time. I now have seen birds with extreme canker or extreme eye colds with greasy wattles and other problems. Hopefully we are on the down side of this now. In about a week I will let them out get them flying again then we'll see how fast we can start taking them down the road.Thanks for all your Ideas and suggestions. Good morning, It is now  the fourth day on Virkon S. During the this time I have lost four more birds two from the OLR and two of mine. These were four birds that were very sick before I started Virkon.I have spotted two more that look a little down. I will give it a few more days to see what happens. A hand full of you swear by this product so I want to give it a chance,because of your confidence in the product I thinking I see inprovement in the birds but am still seeing  a few sick ones.Its been raining here for that last two days and a little colder as well which always makes the birds look just a little down.Will post again tonight. I just wrote a full page that was deleted.The page must of timed out. You now get the short version. This last Inventory is all the birds that have died. Some of the birds that are on this list the owners have all ready been notified. I cant seem to get a hold on the problem. They looked like they were coming around and now Im seeing more birds getting sick. I have tried everything. I now have Virkon S in the water I will keep you updated.Will post again late tonight when I have time to explain things. David L

 I have six birds that I cant put with there owners. Everybody please check the inventory on the WFA website. Make sure that all birds bands and there ownership is correct.
