Good morning Breeders

 Birds have been locked down but out in Avery almost everyday!! Weather here has sucked snowing low fog Rain with no Sun.This week we might have a few days the sun might be out and not fogged in we hope? Birds all look amazing and eating like crazy, The year looks like we will have a early spring and that's a good thing. I start taking YB February in about 3 weeks the new loft addition starts Feb 1st total loft space will be 12x135 will be done by middle of February  if the weather holds. Other then that I hope you all have A wonderful Sunday with the family!!!

Good Morning Breeders

 
I hope everyone had a good week after Christmas!! Happy New Year I hope 2024 brings many super things for all of you!! Birds are doing super getting back going,  It hasn't been a problem there flying great and weather looks like we will have many opportunities to get them down the road. Birds look super and health is very good over all things couldn't be better right now. We have 435 in the loft, We will do a hands on this week to check all birds. I know I have two or three birds I have to change in  the computer. I have had many emails asking question on my new race for 2024 the birds here now will be raced April, May and after activation $410.00 per bird is due. I will start taking birds for YB race 2024 Feb thur May 3rd, It will be a busy year with both here but I have lofts of time after yearling race is over to get the Yb settled and going. Many questions on new race how its broke down $1000 for team of 4 $500 for one entry up front and $500 perch fee for 4 birds. If your entry bird is lost before activation your next bird will be moved up and you will have 3 here one paid for and 2 back ups. If all your birds are lost before activation you will get your $500.00 entry fee refunded and you have 4 free perches the next year if you send back. I love the yearling race but holding these birds for almost 12 Months during winter is a lot of work and it would be nice to have a few months off during winter. I am hoping Guaranteed money will open many eyes and it's a big risk for me but I know this will be a great race for YB and not a cup cake course like some people say!!! MERRY CHRISTMAS UPDATE

Hello Breeders

I hope you all had a Merry Christmas with your Familys. Birds are still doing super weathers has not been our friend the last 2.5 weeks like today, blowing and snowing since 5am. Birds all look super molt is 100% done and I will do a hands on this week if the weather doesn't get better!! I like to check all chips and wing molt see where it is and body condition. Other than that things are heading in the right direction as of now. New race is ready to sign up  I cleared 2023 out and the web page should be up and ready to show the new yb race very soon. I hope you all have a Happy New Year and be safe.

Good Morning Breeders

Birds are super flying great and looking amazing!! Health is also holding, molt is 99% done handled some the other day they are  where they need to be. Weather has been up and down cold snow rain but this week they will get some short tosses and will go out I hope to 50 miles and shut them down? I have been doing this yearling race now for 5 years and the reason I switched was how bad the smoke filled this valley caused many problems for me and our club. Would like your feedback  I want to go back to the early race. There will be lot's of work this year with in coming YB and doing the yearling race. Here is my format for 2024 Race $1000 for 4 birds shipped with birds after activation 125 miles $500 a bird. I am Guaranteeing $310K  will pay all races 150,200,250,325,400 all avg speed races  break down 10k,20k,30k,50k,150k ,150,200,250 clocking order and 325,400 drop then clocking and Avg $50k  Loft will hold 250 Teams. We train hard and it's a hard course from  400 miles,It will be one if not the only true 400 mile race west of Texas and Oklahoma, Start races in September and finish 1st-2nd week of October.So would love your feedback!! SUNDAY UPDATE

Good Morning Breeders

 
Hope everyone had a Happy Thanksgiving with family or friends!! Birds  are  looking very good, molt is 98% finished and health is super.The cold weather has moved in. It's been 18-20 Degrees the last few mornings and the birds are eating like crazy. The next few weeks birds will be on trailer and short tosses will start, we toss till  the weather stops us.We took a few days off and went to California Classic and Royal Crown and me and my wife had lots of fun!! We didn't win any money but we met some very nice people there, We will go back just because of the nice people that were there. John does a great job. The races were not the norm this year but what was has been this year!! Hope you all have a great Sunday with the family!!

I finally got all emails put in after I lost all off aol!!! So if your not getting emails please contact me. Birds are grouping well have 400 plus flying and the others are coming around. When there all up flying good I will start to train out to 60 miles before winter hits. Health is holding nice weather here is starting to cool down and the birds are liking it and the feed intakes have gone up. Most every day out we are getting hit by Mr coopper most of the birds don't get crazy they just get high and higher but I have lost a few off the loft some do come back in a day or two. And sorry for taking so long to get this group email out so late. Switching emails and adding is a real pain!! Best of luck in all OLR there all getting going and some have have  raced already. I hope you all have a great week and weekend!!

SUNDAY UPDATE

Happy Labor Day weekend 

hope everyone has a great weekend with friends and Family!!birds are shut down many Dove hunters all around my place. Birds are healthy and dropping feather like crazy, The races have started and I wish you all the best this year!! Birds will be let out Tuesday and Everyday till we start training This year.
