We hope to toss the birds again on Sunday.

30 mile toss tomorrow (Friday).

When we were about to load the birds this morning we noticed it was really hazy. Also a light wind was blowing from a different direction than predicted when I checked after midnight. I checked the surface map and we had a front almost on top of us. We will try to toss the birds on Friday.

Over the last week, including today, we've had some birds return from the previous toss or two. Hopefully they will return from our next toss and get back into the game.

We plan to toss the birds from 30.6 miles tomorrow.

We flagged the birds yesterday. Today we had hard rain until noon. After that a front came through and now we have 35 mph wind gusts.

It was a beautiful day today. There was a light wind on the right side. The birds passed by the loft to the north and had to turn around. We will post the birds that return tomorrow at the end of the day.

55 Mile toss tomorrow (Thursday).

I don't know why the birds had trouble on this toss. They are fit and in excellent health. They had a navigation issue for some reason. It's possible they got into the hills and a mountain or two. I will adjust on the next toss.

As far as training goes, this was a very good experience. I hate to lose any birds. That's the bad part.

We will toss again on the first good day.

My out-of-town trip has lasted longer than I expected. I'll post the results later today.
