Great Toss from Colfax Today.  The birds will go again on Thursday 10/14

RACE 1 from BOREAL MOUNTAIN at 150 Miles will be this Saturday 10/16   (Adverse weather conditions will cancel race and it will be rescheduled).

RACE 1 PRIZE LIST:

1ST  $1200

2ND  $1000

3RD  $500

4TH  $300

5TH  $200

PAID BY CLOCKING ORDER. IF TWO BIRDS COME IN AT THE SAME IDENTICAL TIME AND SPEED THEY WILL SPLIT THE PRIZE FROM THOSE TWO PLACES.

This Race is the FIRST RACE FOR AVERAGE SPEED.

Training Toss #26 will be tomorrow from Colfax 110 miles or Rocklin 85

COLFAX TOSS FOR 10/9 HAS BEEN CANCELLED. 

WILL PICK BACK UP ON MONDAY 10/11 FROM COLFAX. 

* 1ST RACE WILL BE FROM BOREAL MOUNTAIN ON SATURDAY OCTOBER 16TH  @ 150 MILES

BREEDERS ARE WELCOME TO ATTEND. PLEASE CALL MIKE CAMBRA IF YOU PLAN TO COME.

THIS IS THE 1ST RACE FOR AVERAGE SPEED POINTS.

ENTRY FEES FOR FINAL RACE ARE DUE 10/24. 

ANY BIRD THAT DOES NOT GO TO THE FINAL RACE ENTRY FEE WILL BE REFUNDED.

I looked at AccuWeather, NOAA Weather Service and USA Weather Service on the Top Breeders Challenge page. All were different.

So, the best weather report today was "Look out the Window Weather Service"  (WWS)

Mike let the birds out in Colfax at 0815.  SUNNY AND CALM  59 degrees.

I will make my way to the Loft at around 0945 and wait for the birds. I will use WWS Weather service and fill in report for Arrival Weather in Petaluma.

So much for live clocking. Well pump guy came today and turned off power. So so sorry. 

Anyway, birds are all back for the most part. The 10 birds that showed up on the clock were loaded after power came on.

Next toss already loaded for Wednesday. Toss #20 will be Friday. I will be back on Thurday.

PG&E knows how to time things just right. Don't they know we are Training Pigeons !!!

Birds all came together. Looks like they are all there. A few stayed out like always. Alittle rest and relaxation this weekend and back on the ROAD Monday morning. I will post next toss right now.

Birds clocked at 194 and then stopped.  PG&E is conducting power outages  in the area and surrounding hills. Looks like they conducted one at Top Breeder Challenge loft today.
