We will be doing live basketing again tonight. We are sorry for this postponement but after seeing the the reports over night and early this morning it wasnt in the best interest of the birds flying into these conditions.

For the race on March 11, we will be doing a LIVE Basketing the night before.   At the end of the basketing to determine exactly how many are going into that first race, we will begin processing refunds for any birds that was paid for activation, and had not made the the first race.

Just reminding everyone who has not paid for activation yet that Wednesday is the last day for payment. If the payment is not made by then the birds will become property of Gator Classic and will be put up for sale for anyone to activate. 
We will not wait for payment as the 1st race in the series is scheduled for March 11.

Also, please consider the Sprint series Avg and Colored bird options when activating. Sprint is $100 per bird and Colored is $125 per bird. The more birds activated in those classes the higher the payout. 

Storms rolling in now. We do hope to be able to train tomorrow. Looks like a mid-late morning training.

But while this weather is all nasty, I’ll be inside writing up receipts and getting ready to mail.

Anyone paying by check, I have noticed it takes about a week to get here. If you have recently mailed and it hasn’t posted on Wincompanion, please let us know by Wednesday deadline if it was in mail so we can make sure not on the list.

Just an FYI - anyone that happens to lose a paid activation bird on training tosses between activation and First race, I am reaching out to you for refunds on those specific birds. I have spoken to the few that is has occurred with, either by phone or email.

I plan to have the breakdown of winnings by position posted by first race, based on activated birds.

I have finally been able to get the training toss from Thrusday to appear!

Please reference the 3/1 Toss to view the training results.   Our plan is to have the 1st race on March 11, as weather permits.   It appears rain for the next few days.   

ACTIVATION IS DUE BY WEDNESDAY, MARCH 6TH, 2024.  If activation fees are not received by that time, the birds will become property of Gator Classic and be put up for sale.   At that date, we will post those that have hot been activated by band number and color in a complete list both here on Wincompanion and our Facebook group.

The update is that it is now for Sunday Feb 25th.
For the safety of the birds I am changing the date. Both days are beautiful but the winds (15-20 mph) are way to strong for Saturday. Birds were given a bath yesterday which they greatly enjoyed and today they were loft flown.
