SUNDAY UPDATE HAPPY EASTER Good Morning Breeders The birds are doing good the last two 20 miles toss it seems that one or two of the groups are getting broke up for some reason!! The last two tosses there being released in groups of 134 and getting drops of over 100 and but we have 40-50 coming broke up from all directions. We will not train today high winds of over 25 mph and will head SW tomorrow been going straight south all these tosses to the snake river. My other thought is there out routing to get big drops after 2 hours and still wanting to fly maybe?? Training this week looks like the weather will let me get 5 tosses in and we have rain 2-1/2 days this week. Once I get them over the marsing pass it will go fast to the 80 and 125 activation race fingers crossed for the weather to stay good!!! YB race we have 35 birds in loft it’s been slow but I hope April and May are good intake months!! new loft looks good and it’s breathing like I hoped lots of nice air flow. We have lots to be thankful for and Easter is a big day for my family!! I hope you all have a blessed day with your Family’s . Thanks Mark

SUNDAY UPDATE Good Morning Breeders We got 7 short tosses in out to 10 miles birds did good!! Rain and winds put a stop for a few days we will be back at it soon. Weather looks super the next 10 days so we will move out quickly!! Health is super and trapping is getting better we still have a groups who wants to fly another 1-2 hours after they get home. That will change once we get out to 50-75 miles I hope!! The new loft addition is done 99% have to add more perches and will move new birds over tomorrow. 1st two groups of 2024 babies are very healthy and been on landing board every day this last week. SUNDAY UPDATE Good Morning Breeders Yesterday the groups took off after about 5-8 minutes and after I let 3rd group out I looked up and there was the other two groups not together but one was super super high and the other one was far away.When I got home I can see all 3 groups were together and wouldn't leave for over 15-20 minutes there was 8 birds home and they didn't want to trap, some time later we had big groups showing up 60-70 birds and they continued to fly and as of last night we have 411 in the loft.I will go back out today and but a different spot and see how they do. Other than that birds look and handle super and health is super. Once we get out to 56 miles I will separate cocks and hens and they will stay that way till races are over. My new loft is taking longer than I thought the weather was bad but I believe by Wednesday we will be done and I can move the birds over and start doing inventory on what's here. SUNDAY UPDATE Good Morning Breeders 1st day in a week the birds have gone outside weather has been snow rain or high winds like today no sun winds 15 mph and by 12 25-30 mph winds. Birds look great and they are ready for the road that will happen this week looks like 4-5 days of good weather and all we can hope for is 4-5 days of great weather to get them down the road. My new addition is almost done this week coming we should have it 100% finished!! My wife is like WOW, that's a big loft after she walked in it yesterday for the 1st time. It looks like we had a very successful Gala ship out this past week it's always a lot of stress for me that it goes well for all the new breeders who purchased the birds. SUNDAY UPDATE Good Morning Breeders Well I sound like a Broken record the weather has been super bad this week snow rain and very high winds. Birds are ready to go down the road need a few more loft flies the two times out this week they flew for over an hour. The health is super birds look sharp, lots of buzz in the loft, The new loft is about half done with the bad weather. I couldn't work on it but about 8 hours all week!! We received 14 birds this week and they will be on board next week. Hope you all have a great Sunday with the Family. Thanks Mark

SUNDAY UPDATE Good Morning Breeders Birds will start going out today!!! Weather looks very nice the next couple weeks as the highs in the 40’s. Health looks great and it will take a few days to get them going again been locked up to long. The new guaranteed race for 2024 loft opens on Wednesday will be very busy with yearlings and new yb coming in but May will be here fast. The new section 12x52 starts Tuesday and should be done in 2 weeks in time to move over all quarantined birds over to new section. Hope you all have a blessed Sunday with the family. Thanks Mark

SUNDAY UPDATE Good Morning Breeders Rain Rain the weather is horrible but looks like starting late next week it looks better so I can start getting the birds going again. The birds have been out daily in the Avery and look and handle great, It won’t take long to get them going as they have stayed in great shape durning this cold winter. My new section of 12x48 will start this week for the new yb race coming in February!! I have room for around 400 in old Loft with the yearlings and when finished we will have a 12x125 ft Loft. SUNDAY UPDATE Good morning Breeders Birds have been locked down but out in Avery almost everyday!! Weather here has sucked snowing low fog Rain with no Sun.This week we might have a few days the sun might be out and not fogged in we hope? Birds all look amazing and eating like crazy, The year looks like we will have a early spring and that's a good thing. I start taking YB February in about 3 weeks the new loft addition starts Feb 1st total loft space will be 12x135 will be done by middle of February if the weather holds.
